This project is intended to create a connection between people in different cities who share a common interest in designing, altering and personalizing clothing and other wearable items. Helena Keeffe organized the first exchange, between makers in Minneapolis MN and Portland OR in 2001. She has since organized two additional exchanges, in 2002 between Minneapolis MN and NYC, and in 2005 between San Francisco and Oakland CA.
